# Embed SlapFive video player in a Vanilla post

1. In Vanilla Settings, grant permission to Vanilla to access the SlapFive domain by going to **Technical > Security**, and in the **Trusted Domains** box, copy and paste this string:

&#x20;                  \*.slapfive.com

2. In SlapFive, edit the Story that contains the video you want to embed, and from inside the Direct Link to Media field, copy the full URL of the mp4 file.

3. Substitute the copied video URL for the sample URL in this iframe code. Adjust the width, height, and other properties as needed to render the way you want in Vanilla:

{% hint style="info" %}
\<iframe width="100%" height="100%" src="<https://media.slapfive.com/cm05qaa9k007c3bah23q6hqda.mp4>" title="SlapFive" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen>\</iframe>
{% endhint %}

4. In the Vanilla post, click the Insert Media button, then paste the iframe code into the URL field and click Insert.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.slapfive.com/integrations/higher-logic-vanilla/embed-slapfive-video-player-in-a-vanilla-post.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
